DESCRIPTION:The Valley of Turón hosts its Gastronomic Days of Pote\, a ga
 stronomic event with strong roots in Asturias\, which is held to coincide 
 with the feast of Santa Bárbara.\n\nThe uniqueness of this dish gives it 
 its own identity and name\, Pote minero de Turón. This event has been hel
 d for more than twenty-five years and coincides with the feast of Santa B
 árbara\, the patron saint of miners. It is also held in one of the most r
 epresentative valleys of mining and industrial heritage in Asturias\, the 
 natural environment of which has been declared a protected landscape of th
 e mining basins.\n\nThis event has been declared a Festival of Tourist In
 terest of the Principality of Asturias.
