DESCRIPTION:The town of Blimea hosts the only gastronomic competition dedic
 ated to peppers in Asturias\, the Stuffed Peppers Festival\, a long-standi
 ng tradition that dates back more than forty years.\n\n\nThe town of Blime
 a hosts the only gastronomic event dedicated to peppers in Asturias\, the
  Fiesta de los Pimientos Rellenos (Stuffed Peppers Festival )\, which ha
 s a long tradition and is over forty years old.\n\nThis festival is linked
  to the traditional culture of the mining area\, which cultivates the culi
 nary art and combines it with the exaltation of friendship around the tabl
 e.\n\nIn addition to the gastronomic events\, which are the essence of the
  festival\, there is an extensive program of cultural events. The celebrat
 ion lasts several days\, during which the Pregón de los Pimientos Relleno
 s (Stuffed Peppers Proclamation) is presented with the awarding of the Pim
 iento de Oro (Golden Pepper).\n\nIn addition\, there will also be children
 's workshops\, bagpipes\, concerts\, a vermouth session\, a pepper competi
 tion\, a Christmas market\, theatre...\n\nThis event has been declared a 
 Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias .\n\n
