Important information

Being a certified Master Chef of the World Association of Master Chefs is a privilege, not a right. The application process may take up to two (2) months to complete.

This application is for the title of Master Chef and collects relevant information about you and your history. All information remains confidential and is not shared with anyone outside the WAMC Assessment Committee.

How it works

  1. Stage 1. Your application and the application fee.
    • USD 700.00 for Executive members.
    • USD 700.00 plus the difference to Executive Membership for Associate and Senior members.
    • USD 850.00 if you are not a member. This includes an Executive Membership.
  2. Stage 2. Assessment and verification of your documents.
  3. Stage 3. Interviews and / or reference checks.
  4. Stage 4. Final decision and notification.

As a Master Chef recipient, you may also be entitled to receive the WAMC International Judge Level 4 Medal.

If you are successful, you will be told by email first. Where possible, your certification documents and medal will be presented to you. If not, they are sent to you by registered mail.

You are not signed in. If you are already a member, sign in first: Executive members pay USD 700.00, and Associate and Senior members pay USD 700.00 plus the difference to Executive Membership. Otherwise your fee is USD 850.00, which includes an Executive Membership.

Who certified your documents

These people may certify your documents as true copies of the originals: a police officer, lawyer, judge, pharmacist, bank manager, Justice of the Peace, minister of religion, accountant or mayor.

Your WAMC account

You will use this to sign in and follow your application. Your Executive Membership is added to it when you pay.
