Conferred by the association
Partum Concilio — loosely, “brought forth by counsel” — is the highest distinction the World Association of Master Chefs bestows. It marks a lifetime of craft, leadership and devotion to the culinary profession.
The honour is conferred rarely and only by invitation. It is not applied for and cannot be sought; recipients are chosen by the association's leadership in recognition of service whose influence is felt across the whole of the association.
Where the Master Chef Medal celebrates mastery of the craft, Partum Concilio recognises a far rarer thing: a body of work that has shaped what WAMC is and what it stands for. It is an honour of distinction, given in gratitude, and held for life.
