Privately owned. Internationally represented.
WAMC is a privately owned association. It is held by its two owners and operated on their behalf by a team of internationally appointed representatives. Rather than a single head office, it runs on a decentralised structure, with senior leadership based in Brisbane and Melbourne, Australia.
The Owners
WAMC is privately held by its owners, who set the direction of the association and appoint its representatives.
Management & Administration
The team that keeps the association running day to day, from organisational development to member administration.
Senior Consultants & Advisors
Specialist advisors appointed across regions and disciplines to guide the association's professional work.
Senior Trainers
Accredited trainers and assessors who deliver WAMC's education and recognition programmes.
Regional Directors
Each region is represented by an appointed director who works alongside the wider leadership team.
Decentralised by design.
WAMC has no formal head office. It runs on a decentralised management structure, with senior leadership based in Brisbane and Melbourne, Australia, and representatives appointed across its regions.
Functions such as membership administration, news, accreditation, events coordination, IT and treasury are handled by appointed representatives working across locations. Most chapters also appoint their own volunteers for membership, marketing, events, training and trade — working alongside the wider team rather than reporting to a central office.
The rules we set ourselves.
WAMC operates under a constitution first ratified in 1950. It defines membership categories, the roles of the owners and their appointed representatives, the conduct framework, and how the association can be wound up.
The constitution is short by design. Twelve articles, twenty-two pages, no jargon. It is maintained by the owners and updated as the association evolves.
