Distinction

Medals

Medals mark professional grade and competition achievement. They are conferred formally and recorded against a member’s standing in the association.

Master Chef Medal

The association’s highest professional grade, conferred for mastery of craft, mentorship and lasting contribution to the profession.

International Judge Medal

Accredited to judge WAMC competitions to a consistent international standard.

Professional Chef Medal

Recognised professional standing within the WAMC community.

WAMC Ambassador

Represents WAMC internationally, championing the association and its members abroad.

Gold Medal

First-place competition standing — awarded for the highest result in a sanctioned event.

Silver Medal

Second-place competition standing in a sanctioned WAMC event.

Bronze Medal

Third-place competition standing in a sanctioned WAMC event.

Service

Badges of service

Badges recognise the many ways members give back — mentoring, contributing, hosting and serving. They appear alongside a member’s name across the association.

News contributor Contributes news and updates to the WAMC community.
Magazine Contributor Contributes articles and features to the WAMC magazine.
Committee Member Serves on a WAMC committee or in chapter leadership.
WAMC Mentor Guides members earlier in their careers through the WAMC mentorship programme.
Event Host Organises and hosts WAMC events, dinners and gatherings.
