Professor Gaven Ferguson is an international education and industry leader with more than two decades of experience across higher education, vocational education, governance, quality assurance, international partnerships and organisational development.
He currently serves as Adjunct Professor at UCSI University Malaysia and as Global President of the World Association of Master Chefs, where he has led the development and expansion of international education, accreditation and industry engagement initiatives across more than 60 countries. His work has included the development of global education programs, institutional partnerships, professional accreditation frameworks and cross-cultural initiatives connecting education providers with industry.
Professor Ferguson has previously served on an Academic Board and has held senior leadership, teaching, compliance and quality assurance roles across universities, registered training organisations and international education organisations. His experience includes academic and regulatory governance, strategic planning, educational program development, stakeholder engagement, international market development and the establishment of collaborative partnerships between education and industry.
He also owns and operates several online education companies and digital platforms designed to strengthen education support services, professional development, recognition pathways and access to learning opportunities globally.
Professor Ferguson is also an author. His publications include The Business Procrastinator and the Amazon bestseller The Wise Man in Giza. His books are used as study and discussion material by business students internationally and are also read by aspiring entrepreneurs, self-starters and business owners seeking practical insights into business development, decision-making and personal effectiveness.
He holds a Master of Marketing Management and Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, together with a Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching from the University of Southern Queensland and extensive qualifications in vocational education, project management, leadership and quality assurance.
His professional interests centre on strengthening connections between universities, industry and international partners, supporting innovative educational models, improving governance and quality frameworks, and developing opportunities that enhance the global reach and practical relevance of education.
