MC Evan Carlo

Master Chef Evan Carlo is the Global Vice President of the World Association of Master Chefs and an internationally respected culinary professional with more than 30 years of experience across the hospitality, tourism, culinary and training sectors.

Also known professionally as Chef Mahjoub Aouidet, Evan has built his career working across numerous countries and cultures, developing extensive practical knowledge of professional cookery, food service, hospitality operations and culinary education. His experience allows him to combine traditional culinary skills with a strong understanding of the changing expectations of the international hospitality industry.

Evan has been a key member of the World Association of Master Chefs for many years and has played an important role in supporting its international development. As Global Vice President, he works closely with WAMC representatives, chefs, educators, hospitality organisations and government stakeholders to strengthen professional standards, create international partnerships and provide new opportunities for hospitality professionals around the world. His work has included collaboration with the Tunisian tourism sector and initiatives designed to strengthen links between education, industry and international culinary networks.

He has shared his considerable industry experience directly with students and emerging chefs, providing practical knowledge and skills developed through decades of professional practice.
