1. About us

The World Association of Master Chefs (“WAMC”, “we”, “us”) is an owner-operated international culinary association founded in 1950. These terms apply to all visitors, members and chapter committee members.

2. Membership

Membership is granted at WAMC's discretion and is subject to the applicable fees, the Code of Conduct, and any tier-specific eligibility requirements. Membership is personal to you and may not be transferred. Fees are payable in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use our services lawfully and respectfully. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload harmful content, misrepresent your identity or credentials, or use member data for any purpose other than legitimate association activity.

4. Accounts & security

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the Code of Conduct.

5. Content & intellectual property

All WAMC branding, the crest, written content, course materials and imagery remain the property of WAMC or its licensors. Content you submit (profile details, articles, event listings) remains yours, but you grant WAMC a licence to display and distribute it as part of the association's services.

6. Events, courses & recognition

Participation in events, endorsed courses, accreditation and awards is subject to any additional rules published for each. WAMC is not liable for the conduct of third-party venues, training partners or sponsors.

7. Liability

Our services are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WAMC excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
